وفاقی دارالحکومت اسلام آباد سمیت خیبر پختونخوا اور پنجاب کے مختلف شہروں میں زلزلے کے جھٹکے محسوس کیے گئے۔
زلزلے کا مزکر افغانستان اور تاجکستان کا سرحدی علاقہ تھا، زلزلے کی شدت 6 ریکارڈ کی گئی جبکہ اس کی گہرائی 223 کلو میٹر تھی۔
اسلام آباد، راولپنڈی، پشاور، بونیر مالا کنڈ، چترال، سوات، مردان، مری، شاہ کوٹ، شکر گڑھ، ظفرو وال، گلگت، مظفر آباد، میرپور آزاد کشمیر، ایبٹ آباد اور ہری سمیت دیگر علاقوں میں زلزلے کے جھٹکے محسوس کیے گئے۔ ٹیکسلا، واہ کینٹ، فتح جنگ، اٹک اور چنیوٹ سمیت گرد و نواح کے دیگر علاقوں میں بھی زلزلے کے جھٹکے محسوس کیے گئے، جس سے شہریوں میں خوف وہراس پھیل گیا۔
رپورٹ کے مطابق زلزلہ 10 بج کر 49 منٹ پر آیا تاہم تاحال کسی بھی علاقے سے جانی و مالی نقصان کی اطلاع نہیں ملی۔
